About Bookery
Bookery is a free app that turns your book club into an organised shared library. Instead of scribbled lists, screenshotted covers in a WhatsApp group, and books that vanish after they're borrowed, everything lives in one place — the books each member owns, who's currently reading what, and when it's due back.
Why we built it
Book clubs are one of the loveliest ways to stay connected — but the logistics kill the momentum. Who has whose copy? What did Sarah say she'd bring? Did anyone actually return that Fredrik Backman? Bookery was built to remove the friction so members can focus on the reading and the conversation.
What Bookery does
Each club has a shared library of books its members are happy to lend. Members browse, favourite what they'd like to borrow, and the owner is nudged to bring the book to the next meetup. Bookery quietly tracks who has what, sends smart reminders before meetings, and lets you leave short reviews when you return a book — so your friends know what's worth reading next.
